What do you do when you’re a musician who has played with nationally known bands (several!) or fronted your own band, and your current band(s) isn’t playing due to the COVID pandemic … in fact your band members are spread out and playing or jamming is difficult even without a pandemic … your love of music means you get together and jam with your equally talented friends near home!
This group started playing together during the pandemic and has continued even when their regular bands are back on the road … when they can all get together!
“Throwdown Thursday” is a group of talented musicians assembled to play in spite of COVID… that you will recognize both for their own talents and for the bands they have played with now and in the past.
Throwdown Thursday performed at Southland Jamboree on September 9, 2021 and will also appear at the Southland Jamboree Winter Concert at the Lexington Public Library on Thursday January 19, 2023 at 7pm.
